Didn’t get enough food inspired posts last week? Neither did we. This week we are taking it back a few years and getting ideas from two more classic movies. Have you ever seen Waitress? The 2007, flick staring Keri Russel channels retro ’50s diner looks with a bit of country thrown in. Mod dresses and slip-on sneaks are a fun play up the waitress look.
In the movie Keri’s character Jenna, bakes pies and enters a contest to try and win the prize money. Our Two-Plate Special food traveler would have been the perfect carrier for her pies!
Chef is about a man who loses his restaurant job, but finds light in to the world of food trucks, while also piecing together his estranged family.
The urban street food and culture displayed in this summer film is evident and inspiring. Keep it simple and laid back with urban street style looks.
Who doesn’t love soaking up a little free AC at the movie theater in the dead of summer? There have been some fantastic movies released recently that have us finding inspiration in a new way. This week our fashion mind is getting creative from two foodie themed films.
The movie is based around an Indian family who moves to France and opens a restaurant right across from a prestige French restaurant owned by Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren). The French and Indian influence from the film is seen below creating the perfect looks for summer style.
