We’re featuring our 3rd of 4 summer interns at SCOUT. Today we’re focusing on Katherine’s style, a rising senior at Georgetown University who is studying business. We love that Katherine lives right around the corner from our headquarters! Her style is classic with a twist…she loves fashion but appreciates looks that last mixed with fun, on trend pieces that keep her look refreshed! Katherine hopes to pursue a career in fashion/retail and enjoys wearing easy pieces that are both feminine and fun.
This Vineyard Vines dress is super cute and comfy enough to wear everyday.
We are obsessed with this Alice and Olivia cocktail dress! And it goes perfectly with the small heeled sandals below.
Katherine would wear cute and easy sundresses like this Kate Spade dress everyday if she could!
We’re officially obsessed with Katherine’s jacket choice. This Kate Spade peacoat is classic and perfect for the cold winters in DC.
When it comes to accessorizing, Katherine likes to keep it clean and classic. These pieces are versatile, chic, and never go out of style.
Katherine’s SCOUT bags of choice
Today, we will be giving you a little insight into the fashion and lifestyle of another SCOUT intern, Natalie Bruno.
Natalie is a native of Richmond, VA and will be a rising junior at the University of Virginia this fall studying Spanish and Business. Easy and natural with a Boho twist is the style of Natalie. She loves accessories to personalize her look and loads up on rings everyday! She loves making jewelry and has an artistic bent. She also hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains not far from UVA!
Classic yet edgy, this leather jacket from Zara is one of Natalie’s wardrobe staples.
These Free People boots are so great for fall and we love that they can be paired with jeans or dresses.
We love Natalie’s choice cocktail dress by Alice and Olivia. It’s chic and modern but still shows just enough of her boho style.
This Free People mini dress is the perfect transition piece for your wardrobe as we move into fall (can you believe it’s almost August??)
Get Natalie’s “go to” look:
Natalie’s favorite SCOUT bags that can double as the perfect school bags on the days when she doesn’t feel like carrying her Big Draw backpack.
We decided to take a bit of a different approach to a “back to school post” this week. With four interns who all attend different schools, we thought we would share a little insight into their lives and of course their personal style.
Annie Gray, a native of Edenton, NC will be a rising junior at the University of North Carolina of Chapel Hill. She is SCOUT’s editorial intern this summer and is loving working for SCOUT! Her look channels Jackie O; it’s classic with a feminine twist. Boyfriend crisp white shirts with skinny jeans and flats is her “go to” uniform. Dashes of color add punctuation to her wardrobe for day into special occasion.
“This silk Tibi cami is so classic but still fun, which is why I love it” -Annie Gray
This Zara Sailor’s Jacket is fun with a little bit of spunk and it goes perfectly with the Tibi cami above.
For a special occasion, Annie Gray loves to keep it simple but still show a pop of color and not go for your average little black dress. We love her choice of this hot pink Shoshanna dress.
Annie Gray’s “go to outfit” is a white top, dark skinnies, and chic ballet flats.
Outfit inspiration featuring this J.Crew white denim jacket.
“I actually just ordered both of these items for my 12-year-old sister in Hot Pink Floyd, which I’m obsessed with!”

Cleary we think monogramming is the way to go. With personal designs you can give gifts that
have meaning. Know of monogram spots we missed? Let us know your favorite shops, websites,
and designs. Here at SCOUT we love knowing what you think! And of course, don’t forget to order
a SCOUT bag with your initials if you don’t already have one.

This week, we want to show off SCOUT’s personality through monograms.
Here at SCOUT, we love the idea of making our bags your own so we decided
to give a quick run through of where monograms originated from and how
members of the SCOUT team use their monogramed bags today.
