Fantasy Tea Party: Pretty Pastels

Friday’s tea party features classic Easter pastels, so for our guest list, we’re inviting some of our favorite classic movie stars: Grace Kelly, the Main Line girl next door turned icy Hitchcock blonde turned real-life princess; Lauren Bacall, whose sultry stare and trademark husky voice made her the epitome of film noir femme fatales; and Sophia Loren, the Italian bombshell who made us all want to live la dolce vita.

Fantasy Tea Party: Black, White, and Metallics

Thursday’s tea is edgy and non-traditional: would you dare to sip from a Fornasetti cup emblazoned with a giant eye? Do you mind “The Models” standing in your tea?  The dress code is all about black and white accented with metallics and magnificent Disney villain-esque hats, and we’re inviting our favorite fashion daredevils: Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tilda Swinton. We love these ladies for taking risks with their style and marching to the beat of their own fashion drum.

Fantasy Tea Party: Sweet Spring Florals

Tuesday’s tea is elegant and traditional, in pinks and blues and floral patterns. At a tea party so classic, we simply must have a royal presence. We’ll cordially invite Kate, the lovely Duchess of Cambridge, her sister Pippa, and, of course, her royal grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II herself. We won’t mind if adorable little Prince George tags along too!

Fantasy Tea Party: White with Brights

The sun is shining, the cherry trees are blooming, and we’re in the mood for a tea party! This week’s theme is “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party,” and we’re picking out the table setting, the perfect outfit to wear, and of course, some outlandish hats! To finish off the perfect spring party, we’re putting together an exclusive invite list.

To brighten up your Monday, tea will be served in classic white porcelain cups accented with a pop of bright color, like these picks from Seletti and Jonathan Adler. The outfit picks follow the same theme: a crisp white dress with pops of color in the accessories. As guests, we’re inviting the stars of the moment we’d most like to hang out with: Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, and Emma Stone.

Audrey Inspired: Floral Fantasy

The floral-patterned dress designed for Hepburn by Hubert de Givenchy in Sabrina marked the beginning of their lifelong collaboration and is widely considered one of the most iconic dresses in cinema. We love how modern the black-and-white appliqué still looks today. Floral imagery, from earrings to bags to shoes, is a great way to channel the romantic side of Audrey’s style.

Audrey Inspired: Seaside Stripes

Audrey Hepburn is one of our favorite style icons—her look is timeless and as relevant today as it was when she first appeared on the scene in the 50s. Although she’s most famous for her incredible Givenchy gowns, her casual style is just as worthy of emulating. One part classic preppy and one part French gamine, seaside Breton stripes were a huge part of her simple and elegant day-to-day style.
